LAS VEGAS, USA – June 16, 2008 (NXTComm, Jungo Booth
SL-9124) – Jungo
Ltd., a leading provider of residential gateway software solutions,
will demonstrate a real digital home environment at NXTComm 2008.
Jungo will present a wide portfolio of innovative value added
services for telcos, with a focus on end-to-end smart home capabilities,
all enabled by the residential gateway middleware.
Visitors to Jungo’s booth will have a unique opportunity to
experience a range of the latest innovative services for the
home in a simulated “Smart Living Room.” This is
a managed environment from where the user can control everything
from entertainment, such as music or movies, to home comforts
such as automatic air-conditioning, a digital garden irrigation
system and a pet water-bowl refill system. All these capabilities
can be remotely managed by the home PC, laptop and/or cellular
phone, giving the user control whether at home or away.
Jungo’s digital home is enabled through Jungo’s software solution
OpenRG™, residential gateway middleware that telcos can
deploy on a wide variety of CPEs. The middleware includes advanced
media and voice applications to enable all the broadband services
required by subscribers. Along with Jungo.net, Jungo’s Service
Delivery Platform, users can access their content and services
via a single intuitive telco-branded web portal from anywhere
on any device at any time.
Also demonstrated at the show is Jungo’s Support Cost Reduction
(SCR) package that dramatically lowers telcos’ customer
support costs and operational expenditures, which often increase
when introducing new services to the market.
Eran Rom, Jungo’s CEO, commented, “The company is now
able to provide telcos with the most innovative offering available
for launching and managing the multi-service digital home network.
Telcos deploying solutions from Jungo can roll out multiple services
easily and quickly in order to increase ARPU, reduce customer
churn and operational expenditures.”
